Who CAIRs?
Daniel Pipes has an interesting tale of yet another (possibly trumped up) “hate crime” against Muslims. Interesting how often people who just happen to be affiliated with CAIR in some official capacity, are victims of this kind of thing.
It’s like they walk around with ID badges on or something.
Me, I see headscarved women all the time, even here in the Houston suburbs, and really don’t think twice about it. Anecdotal, naturally, but I do think I’m fairly representative of the typical non-Muslim American who does actually believe in religious pluralism.
A concept, ironically, that does not seem to have much of a foothold in most Muslim nations.
